"Finding the Story in the Picture", a creative writing workshop, with master Kerry Grombacher, designed for writers, teachers, and students - of poetry, songs, fiction or non-fiction - who want to sharpen their ability to describe scenes and to tell stories. Kerry, a master writer, lyricist and music educator will lead you in an exploration using 2-dimensional artwork as an inspiration for creative writing to hone your descriptive and story telling skills. You will ask, and answer: what do I see, what do I know, and what do I imagine? Grombacher stresses the use of strong descriptive language, literary and cultural allusions, and the power of story.
